Meet your Team Building Facilitator

Hi, I'm Kacie Wylde, I run Best Detroit Walking Tours and Best Team Bonding.

While we are based in Detroit we travel all over for Team Bonding activities. In the past, we've travelled to Grand Rapids, Lansing, Ann Arbor and more for team building activities.

Currently, our top performing team building activities are our original Best Detroit Walking Tour and Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) Scavenger Hunt.

Over the next couple of weeks we will be posting more information about each of our product offerings and helping you make the right choice for what is the best team bonding activity to do with your team.

Here are some questions I get asked:

What made you start Best Team Bonding?

I had worked with a handful of different team building companies in the past as an independent contractor and really enjoyed being able to create fun employee engagement experiences.

That being said, I did notice things that I wish had been done differently or could have been done better.

Our main focus for Best Team Bonding is to be greener and cleaner. I remember seeing so much waste being produced from these one off team building experiences.

At Best Team Bonding we reuse what can reasonably be reused, we recycle what can be recycled and discard what is no longer usable.

Our Best Detroit Walking Tour is one of our cleanest programs, second is our Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) Scavenger Hunt. Both of these programs are green and clean, and we have optimized our other programs to be such as well!

Other than being clean, what else does Best Team Bonding do really well?

We might not have the 100s of activities on offer that other companies do but having a smaller roster of activities on offer is actually our super power!

I remember working with other companies where the facilitator who showed up had never facilitated that particular activity before, so instead of having this deep meaningful experience it was rushed and haphazardly figured out on the spot.

Having less offerings means that we run the same program over and over and over again! Making us the best in the industry to do that program!

Do you have any food related team building activities?

You know I am a total foodie myself and run two food tours in Detroit so it would make sense for us to have food related activities. We are going to be adding some food related team building activities shortly.

One of problems we ran into while deciding to offer food related team building activities was often that the foods we were offering were not in the mainstream food media.

I wanted to highlight food from my culture as well as other cultures that I am a fan of but those activities when we had initially posted them in the past did not get much traction.

Due to that we are first building up the education around those foods that we want to include in our future team building activities.

Do you offer any Charity Give Back activities or anything with a corporate social impact?

Currently our program The InteGRITy Challenge is one that has a corporate social impact as we use materials made by .

In the future we will be offering more Charity Give Back activities and will be posting those once those are available to book!
